A Hero. So, uh. Yeah. I wrote this today for an English homework assignment. It's about an everyday hero who doesn't get crowns and wreaths and screaming ladies but is still a hero nonetheless. Enjoy. A Hero Dedicated to: Zhang Jiahe He sits without making a sound; His feet they dangle above the ground; He’s quiet for he has nothing to say; He’s a hero in his own special way. He goes for surgeries and tests and more; He’s a young boy at the age of four; He keeps his cool every single day; He’s a hero in his own special way. He goes on with life as any child should; He knows what to do and tries to be good; He loves to run, to smile, to play; He’s a hero in his own special way. He knows that cancer’s tearing up his life; He’s been through pain and been through strife; He understands, yet his skies aren’t grey; He’s a hero in his own special way. His strength has been a support to all; He’s shown that God works in the small; He stands up tall and does not sway; He’s a hero in his own special way. Rainbow Lim December 18, 2008 PEACE we out.
