On Tuesday, Jean, Starry, Kenneth, and I had a debate. Actually, Jean and I were the debaters (?) and Kenneth was the judge. Starry... She was the onlooker. Lol. We had a TOUGH time choosing the topic, but we finally settled with "Who is prettier? Jean or Rainbow?" Kenneth chose it. NOT ME! D:

Anyways. Here are our paragraphs we wrote/typed. We'll start with mine. I'll leave them WORD FOR WORD without changing anything, so please excuse the grammar and punctuation mistakes.


"Well, of course, and naturally, our inner-selves, being selfish as we are, will choose ourselves as being the "prettier" one. I am also one of those self-absorbent humans and I can't deny that, upon seeing the topic of this debate, felt like voting myself in. I have two choices now, Jean or me. I'll start with Jean. It seems more fair that way and may deem myself more worthy of winning. Jean is pretty in her own way. She is tall and thin like a model, which is essential as nobody likes short, stubby teenage girls. Not only her stature, but her face has the distinct features of a lady. She talks with an air of self-esteem and elegance, yet she is not arrogant or self-centered. A person's face depends on how they feel inside and how they act too. The girl must be a servant, willing to aid others and to assisst them when it is needed. She must think of others often and care for them. I think Jean has all these traits which can help her in this run "prettiest" girl. Loving, kind, and helpful, Jean is the perfect figure for a what you will call "pretty" girl.

Me. Well, I'm the boisterous type, loud and, if I say so myself, sometimes not very lady-like. I like to act like a boy, and that I do not deny. I hate skirts, dressing up, putting on make-up, wearing jewelry. All those things make a lady, and some people say that that is what makes a person "pretty." I do not feel that way, of course. I like to say that I am pretty, but I don't wanna boast either. In this debate, I'll say that Jean and I are both equally "pretty" in our own special ways and, since we're cousins, there's really nothing to brag or compete about. That's all."


This is Jean's.


"I find that Jean, is obviously the prettier girl because, rainbow likes something very boring called deviant Art and she is kind of addicted that would make her ugly. because looking at That is ugly would make her think that she is ugly and therefore makes the opposite person, Jean the prettiest. and since rainbow is older, she would have more wrinkles then Jean, so wrinkles makes one ugly and so, that concludes that Jean is prettier. Wait, not conclude, theres more, continue reading. Jean, has nice: hair, face, appearance, looks, character ( it makes one prettier with a better character ) haha. okay. dunno what to write alr. Rainbow surely win. Aww. Uhh... Jean is smater than rainbow and then, smart = pretty, so rainbow, too bad. although rainbow is older, maybe i am smarter, okay, maybe not, but um '13 years old=pretty, 14 years old=not so pretty', thats my quote which has a (c) on it. so no copying. another thing, all the people here are 13 year olds and therefore she is older and she has more wrinkles, oh yea, i mentioned that already, nevermind."
